Emily and Justin are at different schools right now. Justin's requires uniforms, Emily's doesn't. I just felt like I should explain Justin's boring clothes. Not that he cares. :) Hopefully Justin will be going to Emily's school next year...

Such cute pictures. Emily looks so pretty in the "weird camera setting" one. And I love how your personality totally comes through in all your comments. Explaining Justin's outfit, squinty kids, ... I can't totally hear you saying it all!
Not that anyone will check back here...:) but the reason they are at different schools is because Emily goes to a special school that emphasizes creative arts and communications (like the sign says). It's still really great academically, but then they just have lots of extra, artsy stuff which is fun. The program starts with 1st grade, so Justin has to go to the school we are zoned for for Kindergarten...but should be able to get into Em's school for first grade.
The driving actually isn't even that bad, I have a 3-way car pool going for both schools...so that helps a ton. I'm so lucky to have wonderful friends to help!

As a mom you have to love that first day of school. What a bitter sweet moment. & what would we do without car pooling? Cute pics.
I would love for Ethan to attend Gilbert in the future, but I've heard its a lottery chance to get accepted. Was it hard for you to get Emily into Gilbert? What was your second choice for backup?
our preschool starts in two weeks- and it is just preschool- so lucky me gets two more weeks till carpooling!
