This post is totally silly, but I think it's still blog worthy. Last week my friend was watching Eden while I was helping at Justin's school. When I came back to pick her up I found Eden in her first EVER ponytails. My friend had done them while I was gone and I just thought it was the cutest thing ever. I know this may not seem like a big deal, but it kind of was to me. I had no idea she was ready for the whole ponytail thing. I probably should have realized it because she's been sporting a pretty sweet mullet for awhile now. :) But I didn't even think to try. I (of course) had to take pictures...

This is also a good chance to share this photo of Eden wearing a wig Emily wore for Halloween a couple of years ago. I think it's pretty funny...

I'm laughing so hard right now only because I totally relate! I have been trying, for the last week, so squeeze a ponytail out of Jane's three strands of hair. She hates it and yanks it out the second I get it in. And trust me, there isn't much there. Even less than Eden!
The last shot of Eden reminds me of Emily back when I knew her. Weird, right? I don't know, something about her face. She is really a doll. (And i love that pink dress.)

In case you want to know... I love the clear elastics from Sally Beauty. They are the stretchiest I have found. They also usually break or stretch out when I take them out. That way it doesn't pull on or break their hair.

So Ella has a mullet too... I was thinking I should trim it so it wont look so bad. I know it is hard to cut hair the first time, all sentimental and stuff... but now I wonder should I do a mullet with piggies or cut it!!!

I think you could fit in some pig tails in the last picture :). It was such a funny picture. I also love the pig tails. I am excited for when Bailey can wear pig tails because maybe then if I forget a bow then maybe people won't make comments about my little boy.
